Volkswagen is using information tech advertising to target its customers to improve their online experience.
According to a report from the European Union’s Consumer Council, the company has begun using data from a variety of digital advertising sources to target advertising.
It says the use of information technology is “a critical step in improving the consumer experience for consumers.”
The report says Volkswagen has already seen significant improvements in online experience, including a reduction in spam and other unwanted ads.
The company said it has “identified many additional measures that can be implemented to further enhance online consumer protection and improve online safety.”
