This is according to the latest data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS).
In 2016, the jobless rate was 10.2 percent, while the job openings rate hit a record high of 2.5 percent.
This means that there are currently more than 3.2 million jobs available in the U.S. right now.
The United States is also home to some of the highest growth rates in the world for the number of people employed in the workforce.
The number of employed in this country grew by almost 5 percent over the past year, and more than 8 percent from December to March of this year.
